Waterborne Review
Much like Saw 0.5 was a good Saw movie for the same reason, replace killer ants with zombie kangaroos and this would be a good version of Marabunta. I mean yeah, the way the kangaroo appears as it's about to attack isn’t very suspenseful. It’s just all made up for once you see the practical effects done onto it during at least a medium shot. Plus the fact this was authentically made in Australia and by Australians gives it that genuine, if not exotic, feel even as its story would’ve had enough for a short twice its length. But for what it is it’s more than well made, has the right amount of dread and gives you at least what you expect if not a bit more.
