Van Helsing (2004) Review
Oh hey, this is apparently a horror movie. It's not a particularly memorable one despite its refusal to cash-in on anything, but it gets the job done (at least as entertainment rather than meeting its genre's expectations). I mean I remember when it was released and I mistook it for Hellboy because they both had "Hel" in the title (blame my 12 year old mindset). Can't really say much about it except it has the most unique design of the Frankenstein monster I've seen on screen. Otherwise I'd be shocked if I found out this sort of movie did make back what it cost considering that aformentioned flick with the same "Hel" word in it released the exact same year.
