The Ring Review
It’s hard to believe that this movie scarred me more than The friggin Exorcist. Not only was this one PG -13 but it was directed by the same dude who did Pirates of the Caribbean. Then again the 70s and 80s did sometimes mistake PG for R ratings and R ratings for PG ratings (just watch The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles back to back). Obviously it’s mostly because of the premise AND the fact it’s an adaptation of a Japanese horror movie. Overall it’s still well made despite the fact every single movie from the 2000s wanted to copy its style.
