The Happiness of the Katakuris Review
When I first saw John dies at the end I thought no other horror movie would create such a random world for me to inhabit. Then I saw Hausu around 8 years later. After that I figured no other Japanese horror movie could feel so saturated with non-sequiturs to the point it cancels out its own genre. Then I saw Takeshi Miike's The Happiness of the Katakuris. I don't think even learning Japanese could help me find the words to do this film justice.
