The Gillymuck review
The gentle 80s throwback atmosphere is welcoming. Yeah, you essentially know what you're getting yourself into throughout the first two thirds of the movie. But the ending was both funny yet over-the-top, albeit suitably for a horror movie. And of course it works well with its minimalist quality. Plus it goes without saying that it does a better job with it's PG-13 rating than The Box. Then of course this is coming from someone who never watched any of the Gremlins movies completely, so I suppose this was a more compressed alternative for me personally.
