The Blob (1988) Review
Imagine seeing this movie when you’re not even 12 years old yet. Yup, this sort of movie can leave a lasting impression upon you at an early age. Granted that by today’s standards it’s all fairly campy. In fact the premise alone, even in the 80s, left a lot to be desired. You’re essentially watching that Blacmange skit from Monty Python if it was taken seriously. Even so it’s still passable if you just want The Thing minus the subtlety (or even intelligence if not creativity).
