Snakehead Terror Review
Think Piranha 3D if it was remade by the same guy who did An American Haunting after he was asked to make a PG-13 sequel to Frankenfish (given the latter’s ending). Meaning it’s not very memorable and essentially a watered down version of most SYFY Natural horror flicks (I’m sure these movie have come up with puns on the same level). But give SyFy this much credit: they make the kind of movies that would’ve been more inspired in the 70s and 80s if they had the technology/CG to pull off well. Better yet that’s what the 2000s were for the most part: a more dull yet somehow more epic take on what the 70s/80s gave us if the CG would’ve been able to reach said heights. They certainly returned to the exploitation roots by flat out bringing that same CG into the mindset.
