Predators Review
I think what worked best about this movie is the depth behind its title. Yes, it’s about the predators hunting people again, except there’s a twist: the people being hunted are killers themselves from different countries around the world. So in a way it’s a perfect deconstruction/reconstruction of the original movie that also expands the predators’ world in a way that Alien vs. Predator looked like it wanted to but couldn’t. Plus the manner by which each character fights the titular being is one inspired set piece after another on its own. Overall it was a more worthy (if not deserving) sequel to the first Predator than Predator 2.
