Linnea Quigley's Horror Workout Review

The first act is as perverse as you expect even as they have the decency to censor certain things from becoming the obvious type of film. The second act is essentially that scene from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure where Joan of Arc infiltrates a workout routine, only with 50% more of Michael Jackson's Thriller. The third and final act can be described as one of two things. One is that scene in the Nutty professor where Murphy's character is doing workout routines with women once he's skinny, but with a lackluster horror spoof instead of having one guy workout with women. Two can be essentially the horror equivalent of the 1993 game Mario is missing, only with fairly saucy workout routines replacing most (if not all) of the horror instead of "educational value" replacing the gameplay. I mean, yeah, the 80s music, atmosphere, and even self-awareness could be worse. It just really shows how this wanted to be more than just a product of its time yet succumbed to the latter's trappings anyway.
