Let Me In Review
I feel as though the biggest difference between this and the original version is that everyone involved in Matt Reeves’ film drank a latte. There are certainly scenes that feel a bit more exuberant in this version than they did in the original Swedish film. But past that everything else is really just a shot by shot remake for the most part dubbed in English. Yes, like I said, there are scenes like Jenkins' hospital scene with odder makeup, and the pool scene is much more rushed. Otherwise it’s a decent enough remake which I’m almost surprised Hollywood was okay with as it came out during the approaching denouement of the Twilight craze.
