Don't hug Me I'm Scared 3 Review
The more you watch these the more you start to see the influence. In fact these almost essentially remind me of Avenue Q if they went for ambushing you with sarcasm and visual metaphors instead of topical buzzkill (which end on a less cynical note than they started). I was almost not even going to say this reminded me of The Wicker Man or Children of the Corn in terms of the occult group kind of horror, and then the credits started. That and, of course, the folk-like musical in a field with the 70s tune to match. I think I can at least say this is where the film starts to remind me of The Banana Splits Movie if they incorporated more of the psychedelia from their show into the horror.
