An American Haunting Review

I honestly don't know what drove me to watch this movie in its entirety. I don't even know why it had to be made. Sure, America in the 19th Century was different then compared to how it is now. But what was I even supposed to remember from it past its epoch? Was it that one character dressed in the attire The Village also sported, or that one jumpscare or something?

Not that I've seen it (possibly yet) but I wouldn't even be surprised if this film's ability to make watching paint dry look directed by Wes Craven inspired Robert Eggers to avoid making anything this lackluster a decade later..
