Alien: Monday Review
I can't remember when was the last time I applauded at a short film on the internet. I certainly can say that, having seen the first two Aliens, the 2 AVPs, a Batman one, and even Ridley Scott's return with Prometheus and Covenant, that this is one of the best films of any length that I've honestly laid eyes upon in the franchise (fan or official). Everything, from the quick immersion within the first quarter to the attention to detail in the characters on both physical and mental levels, to the hypnotically precise and creative backgrounds, along with even the suspense, was a pleasure to watch. I have actually been watching Mr. Otaking77077's films for almost a decade now and have always known he never fails to impress given how it shows he makes it worth the wait, and we wait years. It shows he took what made the first one good and revamps it with more modern anime touches to really stand out. It was something special just to scratch the richly detailed surface.
