A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) Review

Think of something that you made at most 15 years ago that you REALLY liked. Yeah, it’s minimalist, of low quality, and the meaning behind this piece is esoteric at best since only you remember its value, but you have so many fond memories of it that it remains precious to you. Now find someone who was known for directing products of their time for only five years now. Not only is that person’s work the aesthetic equivalent of “the leading brand” to counter your “advertised brand” in those commercials, but said person is going to get to remake your work. To have all of this serve as an analogy for this movie would be to imply “the leading brand” doesn’t care about you as a competitor at all.
